Zimbabwe’s government is moving forward a Movable Property Security Interests Bill.

This will allow people to access bank loans and use livestock and other movable property as security.

On an episode of Ask The MP  on ZiFM Stereo, host Larry Kwirirayi talked to Zanu PF’s Dorothy Mangami who is the member of the house of assembly for Gokwe who is on the Portfolio Committee on Finance and Economic Development.

In the programme, she unpacked the bill, the reason behind it, the value unchain it seeks to unlock and more. This was on the eve of public hearings on the bill.

In the programme Mangami talked about the establishment of a registry and the expansive work around it.
