Air Zimbabwe has once again slashed its air fares as part of a special offer
A Harare-Bulawayo flight goes down from $300 to $105. A one-way ticket for the same route is $61.
A Harare-Vic Falls is down from US$421 to US$180 while return Harare-J’burg is now US$275 from US$420. One way flights for the same routes are $140 and $150 respectively.
These fares are valid until 31 July.
Which planes will be operating on these routes is unclear. With some luck though, the air fares will not go back to former levels which will mean flying becomes somewhat affordable.
How the public will respond to this slash is unclear. The national airline is struggling to get people to back it again after suffering from mismanagement in the past few years.
