No plane crash in Bulawayo

Social media was awash with reports of a plane crash at the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport in Bulawayo.

Well it turns out it was  just a disaster preparedness drill. So a fake crash happened but it was part of the airport’s drills.

The fake crash, in this case of a ‘Zambian charter plane’, is a common exercise to make sure first responders are prepared to deal with real disasters.
