About That ‘Mermaid Is Real’ Hoax

So social media has been in overdrive over a mermaid supposedly found in [insert random place here].

They have multiple pictures of the supposed mermaid such as the one shown below.

Well sorry, it isn’t real. That is a prop that was used in 2011, Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides film.

We’re only giving this attention because we keep getting messages asking us we haven’t talked about the mermaid in [insert random local place here].
