Chamisa clocks one million followers on Twitter

Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa has reached one million followers on Twitter.

In doing so he becomes the first Zimbabwean politician to achieve he mark.

He reached the mark on Saturday evening after a campaign to do so.

Chamisa leads Zimbabwe president Emmerson Mnangagwa by a distance. As of Saturday evening, he was non 892.1k followers.

The most followed Zimbabwean is Muslim cleric Mufti Menk, who has 8.8 million followers.
