2 exciting changes coming to WhatsApp

Over the last 18 months, WhatsApp has been investing a lot in upgrading its product offering.

While it is still quite a distance behind advanced competitors such as Telegram, it has made impressive steps, on a service which had been stagnant for a while.

Now according to WABetaInfo, there is more coming, and we will give you what they are.

Schedule group call

You already get this on platforms such as Zoom. The feature is being trialed by WhatsApp.

When it comes to WhatsApp, there will be a new menu item, which will make it easy for you to set up the call, pick names, and then send out the invite.

Edit messsages

This one is ginormous. As it stands, if you send a message with a mistake, you have to options.

You go full on blitzkrieg and delete the message, then post it again.
You send a message with an asterisk to show that you intended to spell something differently and stuff.

With this feature being tested, you will have 15 minutes to edit the message. It will have a label which will show that a message has been manipulated.

We will be keeping an eye out for new features which could revolutionise how WhatsApp works.
