Zimbabwe’s Brendon De Jonge came second in this weekend’s Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, USA.
De Jonge, ranked 124th in the world, had gone into the last round with playing partner and eventual winner American Ryan Moore and Swede Jonas Blixt. Unfortunately he barely lost out shooting a 67 and ending one shot behind Moore who scored 66 to finish 24 under for the whole tournament.
De Jonge represented Zimbabwe in the World Cup of Golf last year and is ranked 58th in the money leaders on the PGA Golf Tour.
