Zimbabwean football agent gets life ban for match fixing

A Zimbabwean football agent Kudzanai Shaba has been banned by Fifa over match fixing.

Shaba was part of network with was under disgraced fixer Wilson Raj Perumal. He was banned for life along with five other agents.

Shaba was initially banned in 2012 for life by Zifa. A subsequent administration led by Philip Chayangwa pardoned him in 2016 only for him to attempt to fix another match between Zimbabwe and Malawi later that year.

Below is the list of people banned for life by FIFA:

Karlon Murray, Trinidad and Tobago
Keyeno Thomas, Trinidad and Tobago
Hellings Mwakasungula, Malawi
Ibrahim Kargbo, Sierra Leone
Kudzanai Shaba, Zimbabwe
Séïdath Tchomogo, Benin
Leonel Duarte, Cuba
