Zimbabwe Women have found out who they will play in the ICC Women’s Championship after the 2025-29 Future Tours Programme (FTP) was announced..
The Women’s Championship, which has been instrumental in ensuring more international cricket since its inception in 2014, sees the number of participating teams go up to 11 with Zimbabwe added to the 10 competing in the ongoing third edition that included Bangladesh and Ireland for the first time.
In the Women’s Championship, each team will compete against eight other teams, maintaining the format of four home and four away series, as in the current edition. Across 44 series, a total of 132 ODIs will be played, with each series consisting of three matches.
In their maiden appearance at the tournament, Zimbabwe will host West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland and South Africa and travel to Ireland, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.
Also included is tri-series in Ireland next year.
