Zimbabwe Women players have launched up the latest ICC Women ODI rankings after impressive showings in the 3-0 whitewash of Papua New Guinea last week.

Chipo Mugeri-Tirpano jumped up a whopping 109 places to 61, after a series in which she became the first player from her country to score back-to-back 50s.

She shares that position with captain Mary-Anne Musonda, who is up 10 positions. Charlie Dean from England is also 61st.

Modester Mupachikwa also benefited from her performances, going up 43 positions to joint 85th with the Netherlands’s Robine Rijke.

There were some falls though.

Sharne Mayers is down to 69th after unimpressive outings.

Ashley Ndiraya dropped to 73rd. She is inactive.

Vice Captain Josephine Nkomo is down to 95th.

Nkomo is the highest ranked Zimbabwean bowler, climbing 16 positions to joint 46th with Ireland’s Cara Murray.

Kelis Ndhlovu is up 31 to 61. Nomvelo Sibanda progressed to 84th.

On the T20 Women rankings, Mupachikwa is ranked highest at 40, up three from the last ranking. Musonda is up eight places to 42.
