Zimbabwe okays all sporting activities

Zimbabwe has given a the green light to all sporting activities in the country.

This was announced by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Monica Mustvangwa at a post-cabinet briefing on Tuesday.

Sporting activity had recently been opened to just low-risk sports but now will see other codes getting onto the field.

Sports will be subject to protocols of all sorts to be able to go forward. The Sport and Recreation Commission has said it has sent out guidelines to national sports associations on how they will operate. For example, all football clubs must have Covid-19 Compliance Officer.
