Zimbabwe Netball team manager dies

Zimbabwe senior netball team manager Ledwin Dondo has died.

The news confirmed by the Zimbabwe Netball Association in press statement on Saturday:

On behalf of Mrs Leticia Chipandu, The Zimbabwe Netball Association President, her entire ZINA Board, the ZINA Netball League, The Zimbabwe Gems, and all Netball players, I would like to announce with sadness and utter shock the death of the Zimbabwe Senior Netball Team Manager, Mrs Ledwine Dondo who passed on on Friday 07 May at WestEnd Hospital after battling with an Illness. Mrs Dondo was affectionately loved and will be sorely missed.
Mourners are gathered at her house, number 20629 Unit B Seke, Chitungwiza. She is survived by her husband, four children, and grandchildren. More details of her funeral arrangements will be announced as they are made available.

Dondo was also a former coach of the team and spent more than 60 years in the game including time as a player.
