The Chan2016 draw for the group stages of the finals to be held next year in Rwanda has been held.
Zimbabwe find themselves in the same group as Zambia, Uganda and Mali.
While coach Callisto Pasuwa will fancy his side’s chancesneighbours Zambia are perenial rivals with a pedigree while the cranes of Uganda. While Mali has not been quite as strong in the last couple if years they will be a tricky proposition.
Based on traditional powerhouses Group C will be tasty.
The tournament runs from 16 January to 7 February 2016 and will feature teams from their respective national leagues.
Full draw is as follows
GROUP A: Rwanda, Gabon, Morocco and Ivory Coast.
GROUP B: Angola, DR Congo, Cameroon and Ethiopia
GROUP C: Nigeria, Niger, Guinea and Tunisia.
GROUP D: Uganda, Mali, Zambia and Zimbabwe
