Zimbabwe crowned Africa Men’s 7s champions!

Zimbabwe have been crowned Africa 7s champions after beating Kenya 17-05 in Monastair, Tunisia.

The Cheetahs came off an incredible fightback from 19-00 down to win 24-19 against Uganda in the semi-finals.

Against the much-fancied Kenyans they were up against it and but Zimbabwe scored a try early even with six players. Kenya hit back quickly but the Cheetahs would not be denied going over the line twice without response from the defending champions.

Having already qualified for part of the World Series, this will be a big, super massive feather in the cap for the Cheetahs as they make their way through the tiers.
