Zimbabwe Cricket boss re-elected to parliament

ZC Chairman Tavengwa Mukhuhlani

Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman Tavengwa Mukhuhlani has retained his seat in the House of the Assembly.

This is after he garnered the most votes in the just-ended Harmonised elections, as he bid for another term as the legislator for Mhondoro Ngezi.

The results were as follows

  • Tavengwa Mukuhlani (Zanu PF) 15,980
  • Simon Tapera (CCC) 11,188
  • Innocent Netanyau (DOP) 493

Mukhuhlani is also up for re-election as chairman of the of ZC this coming month.

In other sports, Caps United owner and Premiers Soccer League Chairman Farai Jere also got elected to parliament, along with Herentals owner/player Isaac Benza. They both represented Zanu-PF.
