Zimbabwe Cheetahs In Africa Cup Sevens Match Day 1 Clean Sweep

Zimbabwe’s sevens side, the SPAR Cheetahs dominated match day 1 of the ongoing Africa Cup Sevens in Mombasa, Kenya.

They finish the day in pole position in their group after dispatching Kenya C (14-10), Morocco (24-5) and Ivory Coast (31-7).

Zimbabwe named a strong side but are also using this tournament to blood in a some players. The team in Mombasa is as follows:

Danny Hondo, Fortune Chipendu, Gardner Nechironga, Toobad Nemadire, Wes Mbanje, Kilvin Magunje, Tapiwa Tsomondo, Lucky Sithole, Jafet Ndebele, Steven Hunduza with new caps going to Boyd Rous  and Shayne Makombe.

Zimbabwe is at the tournament with Tunisia, Nigeria, Madagascar, Namibia, Ivory Coast,, Morocco, Zambia, Senegal, Uganda, Kenya B and Kenya C.
