Zimbabwe Chan camp rocked by 9 Covid-19 cases

Zimbabwe’s preparations for the upcoming CHAN finals has been rocked by nine positive Covid-19 cases.

A test was done on players and technical staff on Monday after their holiday break and nine positive cases were found.

The affect players have been informed and quarantined.

Training has been suspended.

The rest of the team remains in camp until further notice.

Relevant authorities have been notified.

The CHAN tournament takes place from 16 January 2021 in Cameroon. Zimbabwe take on the hosts in the opener.
