Zim PSL Week 25 roundup: Epoupa scores and sees red, Yadah beat Chicken Inn

An action-packed weekend of the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League saw Highlanders rally back to earn a draw against Dynamos snapping a losing streak.

Dynamos’s Christian Ntouba Epoupa scored and saw red for a head butt on Peter Muduhwa in a 1-1 draw at Rufaro stadium. Benson Phiri scored the equaliser for Bosso.

Caps United got back to winning ways as they beat a hapless Bantu Rovers 3-1 with Hardlife Zvirekwi scoring twice.

In the other Sunday match, Triangle beat Hwange also 3-1.

On Saturday, Chicken Inn took the lead with Obadiah Tarumbwa before Yadah rallied back to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Jimmy Dzingai and Morris Musiyakuvi.

Kelvin Moyo’s first half injury time strike gave FC Platinum a 1-0 victory over How Mine. They now are joint top with Chicken Inn and are second due to goal difference.

All the other three matches were draws:

  • Black Rhinos 1-1 Bulawayo City
  • Chapungu FC 1-1 Shabanie Mine
  • Tsholotsho FC  0-0 ZPC Kariba
