Zim PSL week 24 Sunday review: Dynamos beat Caps, Ngezi, Bosso lose

Christian Ntouba Epoupa scored twice as Dynamos did their chances of wining the 2017 Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier League title a world of good after beating champions Caps United 2-0 at the National Sports Stadium.

It was a largely laboured and physical match punctuated by a a burst on the left from Cleopas Kapapurika who set up Denver Mukamba. His shot was blocked and Epoupa  scored a minute into first half injury time.

Caps United came back into the second half inspired but after a debateable free0kick in the 75th minute, Ocean Mushure flighted one in to find the head of an unmarked Epoupa who dutifully nodded it in.

This was the sixth win in a row for Dembare who go face out-of-sorts Highlanders next week.

Bosso are pretty derelict at the moment and lost again to a Brighton Mugoni strike at home to Chapungu.

FC Platinum kept their march going forward as Gift Bello broke the hearts of a resolute Hwange. That match ended 1-0.

The big result of course was Shabanie Mine beating one of the title favourites Ngezi Platinum 1-0.
