Zim PSL postpones matchday 27 to make way for Warriors match

The Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier League has postponed its matchday 27 activity to make way for an international tie.

The Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) announced that the men’s national team would play a match against Botswana at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The team will feature local and foreign-based players as Zimbabwe prepares for World Cup qualifiers which get underway next month.

Their names have not yet been revealed.

It will be the second time the Warriors meet the Zebras after the latter won its Independence Cup 10 days ago.

Gate charges are as follows;
$5 Rest of the Ground
$10 Bay 15-18
$50 VIP

“The squad will be publicised once all logistical issues have been finalised,” said Zifa. “Players will start arriving for camp on Wednesday.”

Matchday 27 fixtures have been moved to the weekend of 14th October 2023.
