Chicken Inn held off a spirited comeback from Highlanders to win win 3-2 in a match day 23 Zimbabwe Castle Lager tie on Thursday.
Chicken Inn were 3-0 up in the second half before a penalty from Adrian Silla and a goal from Gabriel Nyoni made for a nervy final 14 minutes of the game. Obriel Chirinda, King Nasama and Moses Jackson scored for Chicken Inn.
Caps United went down 2-0 at home to Triangle United. Lameck Nhamo and Ralph Kawondera scored for Triangle.
