Zim PSL Match Day 19 Saturday roundup: Yadah deny FC Platinum, Ngezi win

FC Platinum were denied by Ralph Matema late as they drew 1-1 against Yadah match day 19 action in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League on Saturday.

Asli Sadiki scored for the defending champions but they were not able to add to the total and conceded in the 80th minute.

Ngezi Platinum took fool advantage of the misstep and registered a 3-1 victory at home to Triangle United. The hosts got their goals through a brace from Tichaona Mabvura and a strike via Marlon Mushonga. Collin Dhuwa scored for Triangle in a match where Keith Murera was sent off for Ngezi.

Aubrey Chirinda bagged a hat-trick for Chicken Inn with Simon Munawa scoring the other as Chicken Inn went wild on Nichrut to record a 4-0 win.

Chapungu were victors, 3-1, over Mutare City Rovers. Their goals came from Philip Marufu, Maxwell Mavuto and Allan Tavariswa. Billy Vheremu scored for Rovers.

Ayanda Ncube put Bulawayo City in the lead but Kuda Musharu got one back for Harare City. The match ended 1-1.

It was goalless between ZPC Kariba and Black Rhinos.
