The Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League has demanded Chegutu Pirates and Dynamos draw up reports after the abandonment of their tie on Thursday.
Said the League in handing out a homework assignment:
The Premier Soccer League has received the official match reports regarding the abandonment of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match between Chegutu Pirates FC and Dynamos FC played on Thursday 25 April 2024.
In light of this incident, we have advised both clubs to submit comprehensive reports detailing the events leading up to the abandonment before initiating disciplinary proceedings.
The match was stopped after Chegutu Pirates fans protested a goal given against them at the death.
Green Fuel pull trigger
Green Fuel have become the first club to get rid of their head coach this season, after dispensing with the services of Rodwell Dhlakama and his assistant, Darlington Dondo.
“The separation is in the best interests of Green Fuel Football Club and the coaches,” a statement said.
They are ranked 12th after eight matches. They have two wins and three draws.
