Zim PSL 2024 Matchday 6 Sunday roundup: FC Platinum survive Arenel Movers scare

Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matchday six action continued on Sunday with games across the country.

Chrispen Machisa  and Toto Banda scored first half goals for Arenel Movers as they looked to set up a win over FC Platinum. Jarrison Selemani and Panashe Mutimbanyoka then equalised in the 75th and 78th minute to save the former champions’ blushes. They remain unbeaten, three points off table-toppers Highlanders.

Walter Musona got the all-important goal over for Simba Bhora as they beat Dynamos 1-0.

Prosper Kafelapanjila, Malon Mushonga and Blessed Ndereki scored in Yadah’s 3-2 win over TelOne. The winning side were without Khama Billiat. They just about held on. TelOne had a late surge, coring their goals in the 80th and 90th minutes.

Leeroy Murape put ZPC Kariba ahead, but Hastings Chapusha scored the equaliser to earn a point for CAPS United.

In the other match of the day, Chegutu Pirates beat Hwange 2-1.
