Zimbabwe’s top-flight action continued on Sunday with four matches in the 2024 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

Valentine Kadonzvo gave Dynamos the lead in the Harare derby, but Jayden Bakari and Innocent Zambezi scored late for Caps United to grab the three points.

Barbourfields Stadium was virtually empty as fans boycotted Highlanders’s match against ZPC Kariba. Supporters are miffed with the way their club has been treated after the contentious Chibuku Super Cup tie a few weeks ago, believing the PSL treats them poorly.

Fans thus thronged the team’s clubhouse for the afternoon. That did not stop Highlanders from winning the match 2-0, thanks to Lynoth Chikuhwa and Mckinnon Mushore’s first-half goals.

FC Platinum’s slim chances of winning the title received another knock after they were held 2-2 at Hwange. They are now nine points off table toppers Simba Bhora with five matches to go.

Elsewhere, Chegutu Pirates’s 2-1 win over Bikita Minerals means the latter remains in the relegation zone.
