Zim PSL 2024 Matchday 21 Sunday roundup: FC Platinum, Simba Bhora win, Ngezi drop points

FC Platinum and Simba Bhora kept the heat the top, both registering wins in the 2024 Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League on Sunday.

FC Platinum retained top position with a 3-1 win over Herentals.

Their goals came from Panashe Mutimbanyoka, Rainsome Pavari and Junior Selemani, while the visitors had theirs from Grey Kufandada.

Simba Bhora picked up a 1-0 over Hwange, thanks to a first-half strike from Tymon Machope. They remain two points off the top.

Defending champions Ngezi Platinum played out a 0-0 draw against Manica Diamonds.

Dynamos also had another goalless draw against Bikita Minerals. Highlanders had the same result against Telone.

Khama Billiat was on target for Yadah’s 2-1 over Bulawayo Chiefs. He netted the equaliser after Reason Sibanda gave chiefs the lead. Evans Rusike clinched it for Yadah deep into injury time.

Fanuel Shoko and Tellmore scored for ZPC Kariba as they beat Chicken Inn 2-0.
