Zim PSL 2024 Matchday 12 Sunday roundup: Harare Derby ends in draw, Manica streak continues

Caps United had to come from behind to salvage a draw in their 1-1 draw against Dynamos as the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League 2024 completed its 12th matchday.

Kelvin Moyo gave Dynamos the lead after they dominated the early parts of the second half in front of a crowd which had not seen the tie at Rufaro Stadium in five years.

Just as they the Dembare faithful thought their win had come, Ralph Kawondera bundled one over for Caps.

Tawanda Macheke and Qadr Amin were on target as Manica Diamonds extended their winning streak to eight, winning 2-0 against Greenfuel.

The win puts Manica Diamonds top, one point ahead of FC Platinum.

Chicken Inn held on at the end in beating Simba Bhora 3-2.

Brendon Rendo gave Chicken Inn the lead, Michael Charamba doubled it before Walter Musona pulled one back. Brighton Ncube restored the two-goal lead at the death. When Mthokozisi Msebe got Simba Bhora’s second in the 93rd it looked dicey.
