Zim PSL 2024 Matchday 12 Saturday roundup: FC Platinum go top, Bosso drop points

FC Platinum came from behind to beat Hwange 3-1 in a 2024 Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matchday 12 tie on Saturday.

Kelly Shiyandindi gave Hwange the lead before the comeback was from Wilfred Muvirimi, Lawrence Mhlanga and Davison Marowa gave The Platinum Boys maximum points.

Highlanders dropped points on the road, drawing 1-1 away to ZPC Kariba. Stanley Ngala seemed to have haunted his old side when ZPC Kariba took the lead, before Lynoth Chikuhwa got his name on the scoresheet after a mini-drought.

Defending champions Ngezi Platinum Stars beat strugglers TelOne 2-0. Their goals came from Xolisani Moyo and Tapiwa Mandinyenaya.

Evans Rusike and Vincent Sango were both on target for Yadah Stars’s 2-0 over Arenel Movers.

Bikita Minerals won the battle of newboys, overcoming Chegutu Pirates 2-1. Allen Gahadzikwa and Evans Katema scored for Bikita. Lenny Chibaya got the consolation.

Herentals beat Bulawayo Chiefs 2-0.
