FC Platinum’s indifferent start to the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League continued, as they suffered second loss of the season on Monday.
Tino Benza scored the only goal in the 63rd minute as the defending champions lost 1-0 to Herentals.
FC Platinum had shored up their starting XI by including the experienced duo of Petros Mhari and Gift Bello, but they were not to help the cause as the Students picked up all three points.
The loss means FC Platinum now sit sixth with the loss, while Herentals leap to seventh.
