Zim PSL 2023 Matchday 5 Sunday roundup: FC Platinum earn late draw

Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League action continued with matchday five action on Sunday.

It was one versus two as Caps United took on defending champions FC Platinum at the National Sports Stadium.

KepeKepe took the lead through William Manondo in 40th minute and looked as if they could pick up gut-busting win and handed FC Platinum their second loss of the season.

But Perfect Chikwende earned his side a late point, scoring in the 88th minute, to break the host’s hearts.

Chicken Inn twice took the lead. Bulawayo Chiefs pegged them back both times. The most dramatic was an equaliser in the 96th minute to earn a draw.

Triangle United overcame Black Rhinos 2-1.
