Highlanders produced a brilliant first-half display to set up a 3-1 win over Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League defending champions FC Platinum in a matchday three tie on Sunday.
Stanley Ngala and Peter Muduhwa gave Bosso a halftime lead.
Walter Musona pulled one back, but Highlanders held on to pick all three points, to throw their hat in the title race early on.
It was FC Platinum’s first loss to Bosso in nine years.
Adrian Silla scored late on for Caps United as they beat ZPC Kariba 1-0.
Hwange won 3-0 against Green Fuel, thanks to goals from Brighton Makopa, Tendai Muvhuti and James Chivasa.
Triangle United and Ngezi Platinum drew 0-0.
