And the star attraction was between defending champions FC Platinum, hosting log leaders Highlanders.
And it was FC Platinum who took the honours. Peter Muduhwa turned in a ball into his own net off Walter Musona. And Musona came back later to seal the tie 2-0 in favour of FC Platinum.
This was Highlanders’s first loss of the season.
Second-placed Ngezi Platinum took full advantage of the slip-up, walloping Triangle United 3-0. Their goals came from Takunda Benhura, Bruni Mtigo and Qadr Amin.
