Zim PSL 2021/22 Matchday 27 Saturday roundup: FC Platinum win, Chiefs edged by Ngezi

FC Platinum won again in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

The defending champions and league leaders beat WhaWha 2-1 thanks to goals from Justin Mutudza and Walter Musona. Raymond Horonga pulled one back in the 54th minute but the miserly FC Platinum deence kept the door shut.

They now have a nine-point lead ahead of Dynamos’s match on Sunday.

Ngezi Platinum’s up-tick since they got rid of Benjani Mwaruwari, as they overcame Bulawayo Chiefs 1-0, thanks to a goal from Tapiwa Mandinyenya.

Cranborne Bullets beat Bulawayo City 2-1. Harare City and ZPC Kariba shared the spoils after their match ended goalless.
