Zim PSL 2021-22 Match Day 11 Saturday roundup: Whawha shock Chicken Inn, Ngezi draw Dynamos

Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League strugglers WhaWha picked up the result of the weekend as they hammered table-toppers Chicken Inn 3-0 in Saturday’s match day 11 action.

It was the surprising result, given WhaWha were rooted to the bottom with only one win and seven losses from their 10 games. Chicken Inn where the reverse, having won seven. But that counted four naught as the newboys were convincing in picking up all three points.

Dynamos failed to take advantage of the slip-up to go top. They held Benjani Mwarurwari’s Ngezi Platinum 0-0. Dynamos are now level on points at the top with 23 points but trail on goal difference.

Champions FC Platinum picked up a 2-0 win over Bulawayo City Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya and Panashe Mutimbanyoka.

ZPC Kariba beat Black Rhinos 2-1 to make it back to back wins for the first time this season. Herentals overcame Triangle United 1-0.
