Zifa suspends referee after poor officiating in Dembare game

The Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) has suspended a referee who performed poorly in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match between Dynamos and Yadah.

Munyaradzi Mujoni is suspended for two months after two particularly bad pieces of officiating.

This was after he failed to send off Partson Jaure for a crude karate-style challenge.

Mujoni also was failed to call a clear penalty when Jaure deflected a goal-bound ball with his hand.

Dynamos won the match 1-0.

What is curious is if this would have been the case if the match had not been shown on ZTN.
