Zifa set target for start of local football season

The Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) has written to the government with a proposed date for the start of the local season.

Zifa president Felton Kamambo has written to the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) asking for training to begin on 14 September 2020.

They then asked for the season to begin on 20 October 2020.

The league failed to kick off after a lockdown was imposed on the country on the eve of the start in March.
