Young Warriors lose in Cameroon

Zimbabwe’s Under-20 side succumbed to a 2-0 loss in Cameroon on Sunday in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Two goals in 7 minutes from Eric Mbu Ayuk and Mpindi Ekani condemned the Young Warriors who had been held to a goalless draw back home in Zimbabwe a fortnight ago.

It is the poor preparations of the first leg that hurt the Young Warriors. Coach Jairos Tapera blamed poor preparations and said if they did not do it well they would lose.

Cameroon now meet Libya in the next round.
