Wicknell returns… gives journalists ‘permission’ to write about him

So erm… Zimbabwe Football Association benefactor Wicknell Chivayo has returned to support the game after claims someone he identifies as mother of Zimbabwe asked him to.

In another one of his social media statements he said:

The good news is during my recent interaction with ZIMBABWE’S MOTHER she politely requested me to continue supporting the Warriors at all costs. As much as i tried to explain my side of the story she said you are all my children and i won’t stoep so low and listen to the who said this and who said that. She encouraged me never to give up as well as to remain strong and expect criticism when executing national duty.

He said the same person reprimanded him for attacking Professor Jonathan Moyo on social media. As a way of indirectly apologising to said minister he was donating $50,000 to a school in Tsholotsho.

Chivayo then waffled for a bit in unusually impressive use of language before he said he apologised to ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa and Sports and Recreation Minister Makhosini Hlongwane for his antics. Funnily he then says he is only apologising to those two (ignoring what he said about indirectly apologising to Prof Moyo).
