Feslistus Kwangwa has spoken to the media after she put on a player of the match when Zimbabwe beat Northern ireland 51-49 in a Netball World Cup match.
Zimbabwe now make it to the next round carrying two points forward.
This is what Kwangwa who leads the tournament on interceptions (14) and deflections (18 tied with Casey Coupa of New Zealand) had to say.
On the match
We needed to win this game. It was really tough for us. Northern Ireland made our lives very difficult today. And as you could see we were about to lose. We couldn’t lose. We want to make our nation proud. So we needed this game so much because we had promised our nation that we are going to make it.
On living the dream of the first World Cup
Yes it is [a dream]. I really needed this moment. And I am so happy about it.
