We need to get basics right – Sean Williams ahead of Bangladesh match

All-rounder Sean Williams has spoken to the media ahead of the third T20I of the tr-series in Chattogram, Bangladesh.

Sean Williams

Zimbabwe, having lost both of their opening matches against the hosts and Afghanistan are under pressure and Williams, who will captain the side after this tour is aware of what the charges need to do particularly the fielding aspect:

Both games are must-win games. So I think if we do the basic things correct ie our fielding and those fine margins in games. Basically if we can improve on those areas we stand a good chance of winning both of these games. Push both these teams to the last overs, so you know like I said, if we can make better decisions on the field more frequently, I think we have a very good chance of pushing through.

Zimbabwe play Bangladesh on Tuesday at 2.30pm Zimbabwe time.

The match will be screened on SuperSport.
