Zimbabwe international defender Brendan Galloway could find himself under the tutelage of former Manchester United and England star Wayne Rooney after the latter was named head coach at Plymouth Argyle.
The EFL Championship side made the announcement on Saturday, putting the former England captain the dugout.
The record England goalscorer has not had the best of times in the hot seat since hanging up his boots, and he will hope that Argyle, will be a perfect for him.
Argyle director of football Neil Dewsnip coached Rooney as a youngster at Everton.
Galloway was offered a contract extension at the end of last season.
Coventry, Middlesbrough and Blackburn are reportedly also interested in his services.
