Zimbabwe Cricket women’s coordinator Caroline Nyamande gives us information on what the women’s under-19 hopes to achieve as they tour India.
The squad departed for India on Sunday as they step up preparations for the inaugural ICC Women’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup set for South Africa next year.
Nyamande says the tour will also be used to whittle down selection as they play seven T20s in that period. The final 15 for the global tournament has to be handed in by mid-December.
Nyamande also said Zimbabwe will go early to the World Cup and play warm-up matches against UAE and Ireland.
