Zimbabwe national team head coach Michael Nees has said his side still got a chance of qualifyng for the 2026 Fifa World Cup even after a fighting 2-2 draw against Benin on Thursday.

Nees was full of praise for his side after they battled from 2-0 down to earn a point.

While they remain bottom of the table at the halfway mark, the gaffer says here are 15 points left and getting as many as possible could give Zimbabwe a chance of making their maiden appearance at the global showcase.

Nees also also spoke about how he was developing the team, the importance of the senior players, Washington Arubi’s error, crowd and more.
