Zimbabwe’s football fraternity is reeling from the recent death of former national team player and head coach Rahman Gumbo.
An outpouring grief has cadenced the mood of the country.
And in all of this there has been a celebration of the man, with The Herald‘s Robson Sharuko, calling Gumbo a ‘good man’.
Of his skill as a player, there as no doubt, as he made it into the valorised Dream Team under the late Reinhard Fabisch.
And of course there was that goal against South Africa, when Rush smashed a screamer from 40 yards out with a first-time hit.
We share it here, from that 4-1 win in 1992.
