Eagles opener Nick Welch has commented on the possibility of playing for Zimbabwe.
Speaking exclusively to #3mobTV, after his side clinched the Zimbabwe Domestic T20 he said that while he had a good thing going on in England, he said, “It is always on the back of my mind.”
The Zimbabwe-born batsman also spoke about his experience with the Eagles players, showering praise on coach Daniel Hondo, and captain Chamu Chibhabha.
It was a successful season, in which his side also picked up the big one, the Logan Cup.
