WATCH: It’s a dream come true to be playing for Zimbabwe – Nick Welch

Opener Nick Welch says it is a dream come true to finally don the hallowed Zimbabwe national cricket team jersey.

Having made his debut last month on the tour of Namibia, and returns there after selection into the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup Qualifier squad for his side.

He gave credit to his family who have been with him throughout the whole journey.

Welch made himself available for a Chevrons selection after he spent a few years playing county cricket.

Giving an insight into the camp, the aggressive batsman said the change in captain to Sikandar Raza was not that big given the senior players all still had a big say in the team.
