Zimbabwe international Tino Kadewere says his big dream is to take his beloved country to the World Cup.
The Lyon hitman was speaking to SuperSport presenter Carol Tshabalala and while he has not done as he would have liked with the Warriors, he believes he has time:
To be honest, I haven’t had a huge spark with my national team and I still have time, I think. I am 24 years old and I respect the guys that play in front of me. I always believe one day I will make my nation proud.
Kadewere, who was the top goal scorer in Ligue 2 with Le Havre last season before his big money move then added:
The goal for my country is to go World Cup. I want us to go to World Cup and people get to say that Tino was in the generation that made our country go to the World Cup for the first time.
The Warriors are in the same group as Ghana, South Africa and Ethiopia as they try to book a place for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
