Zimbabwe men’s cricket head coach Dave Houghton has spoken of his side’s preparations of the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

His side won warm-up matches against Scotland and Oman. Against Scotland they chased down a modest score of 163 and did it in just over 24 overs. He had given them a target of 30 overs to do it.

Houghton had praise for Sikandar Raza who made 44 in 28, while providing defence for Innocent Kaia who got his second duck in a row.

Zimbabwe now look forward to the main competition where they take on Nepal in the opening game on Sunday.
