Zimbabwean pace bowler Blessing Muzarabani has called his super-over heroics in the win over Pakistan on Tuesday ‘a great experience’.
After claiming five wickets during the regular overs, the lanky Muzarabani returned to take two wickets and concede as many runs to set his side up for their first victory in Pakistan since 1998. This is across all formats.
He said the players simply told each other to grab this win especially as the 10 points for the ICC Super League were up for grabs.
As for himself, Muzarabani said, “In the super-over, I just didn’t think about a lot of things. I just took it easy and then I just backed myself.”
As for the three-match T20 series, which begins on Saturday, Muzarabani said he simply challenges himself to do the best he can do.
