Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) made a decision in 2021 to use a lot of young players in he T20 side
This began in earnest in the tours of Ireland and Scotland, where a lot of senior players were caused to sit out of the T20 legs of the tour. While Zimbabwe Cricket had not gone on record stating this as an official position it was clear.
Larry Kwirirayi caught up with ZC Director of Cricket Hamilton Masakadza to get the official position on this and what the T20 World Cup Qualifier which is being hosted by the country will be like, in terms of selection
